This is a great, easy introduction to Gamemaker and object-oriented programming. Kids get to know the software by editing an existing game, building the platforms for the cool hero to jump around.
I've done this class with kids as young as 7 or 8, and it's always been fun. Kids see results very quickly.

The CD will auto-run a menu with a Teacher's Guide/Manual and the game demo.
